Now that Halloween is over, it's the month set aside to give Thanks! And we have so much to be Thankful for!

Let's start by being thankful for Fashion! Who isn't thankful for a closet full of clothes? Many people the world over don't have the selection of amazing pieces we get to choose from every day! Be Thankful. Who isn't thankful for beautiful wool, silk, cashmere, leather, gold, silver and other such materials? Who isn't thankful for nice cuts, interesting looks, and of course designer treasures? On top of that, who isn't thankful for consignment which lets us find all these things at a better price?

With this holiday coming up fast, let's talk about what to wear. We suggest tackling this issue first so that as the day of feasting and family approaches you can celebrate stress free. Postponing the selecting of your outfit only makes it more intense when the time comes.

The first rule of Thanksgiving dressing is to pick stylish but roomy looks. No one goes to a holiday event planning on not eating. We all know those camera's will be flashing and FB pictures will be up right away.

The polished lady will look for something comfortable but sophisticated. You're the kind of woman who avoids sloppy. No matter how casual the event, you still want to feel good. Skinny jeans or trousers are a good base for the outfit. Select a dark color like berry, dark wash jeans, black or brown. A warm sweater, a little over-sized, keeps you toasty. The over-sized lets you enjoy the food without feeling self-conscious. For most of us this is a casual-dressy day, go with flats. Heels might look like you're trying just a little hard. Keep your jewelry tasteful and small. For the polished look you don't need lots of bling. Just small, subtle and full of taste!
