Color blocking carried the summer season, but what about wearing those same colors in the fall? Well, you don't want to wear short sleeves, linens or flowing halters tops, not without layering anyway. What you can do is pair those bright colors with soft neutrals to ground them. Take something in coco, chocolate, olive or cream - yes, think food. Now go get those regular fall colors: orange, yellow, mustard, green, red, gold - yes, think leaves. Mix the two along with something beaded and something suede. Now, you are all ready for Fall!
The cold front is coming this weekend! Our first, real, bona-fide cold front! Woot Woot! It's time to start digging out those sweaters, scarves and other warm luscious things. The beauty of Fall and Winter is the rich look. Think luxurious. Think layers. Think bundled up warmth. Fireplaces. Blankets. Snow.

Okay, maybe there isn't any snow coming this weekend, but it is going to be wet and cool.
Fall doesn't mean boring. Fall doesn't mean dry and blah. It means you get to work with rich fabrics and beautiful textures. Remember! Never ever regulate anything to evening only! (Unless it is a full length evening gown.) Other than that, bags, shoes, cocktail dresses, jewelry...it all works for day wear. Day wear should be fun! It should be just as amazing as evening wear. Is anything wrong with feeling like a princess or the Queen all the time??? If you have to get up, get dressed, face the day, talk with people, deal with what life throws at you, then you should do it in red high heels, a chocolate suede bag, and a fur around your shoulders.

Hunt down the best food for your family with a smashing designer bag on your arm. Wear your designer jeans. Life is hard, but it's beautiful and so are you! Fill the world around you with beauty don't let it be gray. Embrace Fall, Consignment and Beauty!
