Autumn!

Autumn.  The crisp light feeling to the air. A nip at your hair, a tug at your ear.  The wind blows cold down from the North and chases away the oppressive heat.  Do you feel that shifting in the air?  Do you feel the lightness in your feet?  Cares are lifted and blown away like the bright leaves of summer trees.  Fall is here.  For some it is a time to dress up and pretend you aren't who you are.  For others it's ghost stories around a fire.  Some women choose to embrace the black and orange of October while others avoid anything remotely pumpkin-y.  Pick your poison, there is enough to go around.  It's fall and the harvest abounds!

As the first cool front makes it's way through DFW the temptation to wear every new sweater in my drawer is almost over whelming!  Sweaters!  We can wear them today!  Maybe even tomorrow! Yay!!! Let's not think about how long it might last, but enjoy the moment while it is here!

Whether you are going to Bass Hall to catch a show or planning out your life for the holidays, don't forget to have fun!  Fun should start when you get dressed in the morning.  First thing!  If you take your wardrobe too seriously then you will seem uptight and boring to everyone.  Remember, have fun!  Think about carving pumpkins and candy corn and wear something Orange!  Think about giving thanks and wear something yellow.  Don't be afraid of green!  Go Rocker-chic!  Fur is totally in!!!

So plug in some fun lights, pickup some pumpkins for the front door and make life fun!

Get some great boots, find some funky flats, add suede in anything but a neutral!  Red?  Please!!!

Go look at your closet!  Right now!  Get up and look! If you don't have at least one item of clothing which scares you, one thing which challenges you, and one thing that 's really different, you might have a serious case of the wardrobe blahs. 

Time to toss in the towel and come shopping!  Get a few friends together, grab a pumpkin spice latte and live!  You get one life.  One shot.  Don't make it boring!  Make it fun!
