Shopping Buddies

Shopping with friends.  Some of us love it. Some of us hate it.  Some of us can't go shopping without a friend in tow.  Some of us can't do it with friends in tow.  Some of us take our men. Some of us ditch the men as soon as possible.
So...what are the rules to finding the perfect shopping buddy? Let me give you the rundown.
1) Sex and age are not deciding factors.  Don't limit yourself in your hunt for the perfect Shopping Buddy.  I have met some very discerning young men who shop with their moms, and some very chic old ladies who shop with their grand-daughters.  Focus on someone who gets you.  Whether they have your style or not, they respect yours.
2) Find your shopping style. You need to find out what your shopping style is before you find the right buddy.  Are you a power shopper flying lightning fast through the store?  Are you a mosey picking from this tree and that tree?  Are you a bargain hunter searching for the perfect treasure?  Are you a consignment shopper with discerning taste?  Are you a designer lover armed with that list of "must haves"?  Are you a color wheel follower or a free spirit?  Are you a eater and drinker or a focused shopper?  Do you love shopping or hate it?  When you answer these questions you will know what kind of shopping buddy you need - one like you?
3) Don't mix styles!  If you are a power shopper, a bargain shopper will drive you nuts.  If you are a consignment shopper, a designer store only shopper while argue you out of your savings.  If you are a free spirit, a color wheel follower will frown at every choice.  But! If you find someone who shops like you, even with a different style, you'll empower each other!!
4) Look for a boutique where you can bond with the staff for those solo shopping days.  Find a place where you enjoy the selection, get to know the employees, and get honest feedback on your choices.  Now you have built in shopping buddies!!

Three Things:
2) Summer, Transition, and Fall taken through the Month of July!
