Is it time to clean out your closet? With the kids back in school and company coming in and out through the summer, your closet might be in need of a little R&R. So grab some coffee, good music and comfy clothes and start to clean out! While your sorting through your treasures and ex-treasures keep our consignment conditions in mind:
1) Clean: Double check each item for holes, spots, stains, make-up and other marks. Keep in mind that when items come in with spots they are immediately rejected, so it saves you and us both time if you can eliminate those items before making a trip up to the boutique.
2) Pressed: Each item your bring in needs to be in the best condition possible. We do not keep any means on hand to press items. The better your item looks on the floor the better its chances of selling. So make sure it looks its best when you bring it in.
3) On Hangers: Please bring your items in on hangers, and hangers which you do not want back. Paper and wire hangers are fine with us. This allows them to arrive in a presentable manner, remain pressed and makes the job of looking through them go much swifter. If we have to unfold each item to get a good look at it, our process time triples, at least.
