Coffee Shop Report

Abby here, pumpkin spice latte and scarf to boot!

So, we have reached the first day of fall, last Saturday, and what happened?? A heat wave is what happened!  Go figure.  We must live in Texas or something.

With that in mind, how is one supposed to dress?  We have all of these boots, skinny jeans, scarves, cute jackets, great sweaters and cool cardis.  We have velvets, leathers and cashmere.  Makes you feel hot just to think about it, huh?

Well, until it gets cooler feel free to keep your linens out.  Just try to stick with darker tones like olives and chocolate brown.  Wear your boots and skinny jeans with tunics and a scarf.  Pair your darker colored cardigans with bright flowing tanks.  Pair something summery like sandals with something fallish like a jacket. 

Leave most of your cashmere packed away until it gets a little cooler, unless you are one of those women who works in an frigid office.  Same with leather and sweaters.  Now is the time to layer!  Layer prints, patterns, and have fun!!!
