September 1st is Femme's 10 year Anniversary! 

On August 17, 2002 Price and I married. Two weeks later we bought Femme.  Now, I would not recommend this for most newly married couples.  Marriage has enough hardship at first without throwing a business into the mix, but Price and I tend to take the road less traveled if there's an option.  For the first few years we owned the store, Price worked on earning a degree and I worked on learning to write.  Somewhere around 2003, we decided to throw ourselves into the boutique, and the world of business in general, full force.  Price dropped out of school and focused on designing systems in the store based upon his knowledge of gaming.  I applied my detailed oriented mind, and my knowledge of the store to helping him and learning about brands.  Today,  Femme is a fully systematized, organized, and smooth running operation.  Price has moved on to other projects in the world of computer programing.  I have moved off the floor and into the growth and management side of the company.  Many wonderful women have worked for us over the years.  Each of them has added to the beauty of the store, its growth and culture.  Many customers have encourage, motivated, and helped us grow a strong base of exciting women.  Many consignors have given, forgiven, and trusted us as we have learned to manage our little world.

Price and I both want to say thank you to everyone who has helped our boutiques grow from one store to two, and Lord willing, many more!

So if you don't see me out and about, or behind the computer, it doesn't mean I'm not here!  I'm just laying the bricks for a bigger and better consignment company, so Femme can celebrate another 10 wonderful years!!!
