Coffee Shop Report

Abby here, working in the back office doesn't mean I'm without my coffee, or my opinions.

Sometimes a thought or an idea sticks in my mind and I just need to share it.  This weeks thought is all about a word of encouragement in due time.  It is all about the power to build people up by our words or take them down.  Now, in this business we have heard it all - both positive and negative.  At times, both have been deserved and I am happy to report, I think we have all applied ourselves to learn from both and grow as a company.  We always appreciate your feedback!
Here at Femme, we try to have a culture of service.  Not a "they're right", or "we're right", but one of going the extra mile to make every woman feel loved and special.  We try to give you a place to come where you can relax and enjoy a little shopping therapy.  (If we ever fail in this, please feel free to let us know. We can't fix something which we don't know is broken.)
We try to have this philosophy: If you believe the world revolves around you, you are only setting yourself up for disappointment - cause it doesn't. But, if you believe you can make one persons day better with a smile. If you believe you can lift up someones burden even just for 15minutes.  If you believe you can improve someones life by giving them confidence in their appearance - You are on the right page and in the right place.  This is the mentality of each and ever woman who serves you here, and we encourage you to take this same philosophy out in the world.  It takes just as much time to build someone up as it does to put them down.  Try it for a day. Smile at every checkout person, every cashier, every waiter, every barista, every person you encounter and see how much your own day improves!
Believe me, when you build others up, your own day will be better too!  Bad case of the Mondays?  Make that one other grumpy person smile and now two people are smiling, which will make others smile and now there are tons of us smiling.
Serving others, even with a smile, is a rewarding attitude to have.  You will find your life far more fulfilling than if you spend your time worrying what's in it for you!
SMILE LADIES!!
