Red, White and Blue...what else can you do?

Red, White and Blue.
What are you supposed to do when it's not the 4th of July?  What are your options?
Easy as apple pie!
Red: This dramatic color takes any outfit to a whole new level.  For those who are new or more timid with the color red, or just not a red lover, limit yourself to bags, belts and shoes.  These are the easy way to add that pop.  If you are a red lover: GO FOR IT.  Two warnings: Keep it away from green and gold or you look like a Christmas Decoration.  Keep it away from white and blue combos unless you are going nautical.  Try it with straight up white, or straight up navy with pops of yellow.  Pair it with gray in the winter for a warm cozy look.  Pair it with white or black in the summer to always look classy!  Easy!
White:  White is a often overlooked neutral.  No white is required in an outfit to pair it with white.  Plus, in the summer it feels oh, so cool!  When the temps soar, white jeans, shorts, trousers, tops and a blouses are a must.  Don't wear it with both red and blue, but feel free to pair it with either.  In the winter, well, old school says,  "Don't", new school says, "Go for it!"  Take your pick, but we agree with new school.  Just avoid white sandals.  That's really what the rule is all about.  Avoid anything summery like white flowy dresses and white linen.  As long as the material is appropriate, wear it!

Navy:  This neutral has made a huge comeback with the return of the nautical look.  You can now wear navy without feeling out of date!  Also, if you are struggling to find navy shoes, check out Nude with it instead.  This lovely color keeps your navy up to date and is easier to find.  No need to match!  Also, navy and white are a powerful color combo, but so is navy and yellow, navy and gray.  Easy!  Navy can be worn year around.  Make it more winter appropriate by pairing it with grays or browns. Also, fuchsia is killer with navy.  Remember, denim is generally navy.  If you can pair the color with jeans, you can probably pair it with navy!

Just a few tips on how to wear patriotic colors year around.  These are power house colors and not to be shied from, but embraced!  GO FOR IT!
