Consignment brings joy; it delights us to enjoy the hunt, to enjoy the thrill of finding a new treasures! Consignment challenges us to think outside the fashion box and be more and more creative with our wardrobe. So here are two rules to consignment which you need to keep in mind:
1)Time: Patients is a virtue...I'm sure your mother told you that a lot growing up. I know mine did! So how does this apply to consignment shopping? It means take your time. If it is not fitting just right, or its not exactly what you want, pass and wait. We add 100+ new items to the floor every day. That means if you need a black handbag and one isn't here which you just love today, wait until tomorrow - we might add 50 new bags to the floor. You just never know!! That's the treasure hunt. Why spend your hard earned money on something which isn't perfect? Don't waste it on something beautiful which will just sit in your closet. We want you to be happy, we want your closet to work well with your life. Don't ever settle. Take your time ---> Love is worth it!
2) No Time: The other side of the consignment coin, we only have one of everything. That perfect pair of Christian Louboutin heels, that Chanel handbag, or even that pair of designer skinny jeans - only one! So, while it pays to stay content and take your time selecting your treasures, it doesn't pay to wait on the pieces you do love. Nab them up. We have a layaway program. We can hold items till the end of the day. What we don't want is you disappointed. No crying in the boutique! Consignment is so much fun. Such a different take on fashion and style. Remember two things: There is always more, but only one of everything.
