A hero is somebody who is selfless, who is generous in spirit, who just tries to give back as much as possible and help people. A hero to me is someone who saves people and who really deeply cares. - Debi Mazar

No matter how many decades pass, no matter how far we go as a country, there are some moments we will always keep locked in our collective hearts: The Crossing of the Delaware, the Battle at Gettysburg, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, wounded boys returning from Vietnam and the falling of the Twin Towers are just a few examples of heart breaking and courageous moments in our countries life.
Take time this weekend to remember our brave men and women fighting in the world and training here at home. Thank a Veteran, hug a soldier's mom, display a yellow ribbon, write a letter, make a donation to a charity and talk with your children about the sacrifices made for our nation every day.
Fashion is like all art. It is inspired by the world around us. Our militaries are honored in movies, books, photographs and memorials all over this country and Fashion embraces these statements of respect. Look for military cuts: Cropped jackets, nipped in waist and Mandarin collars. Look for military accents: chains, buttons and epaulets. Look for military colors: Navy, red, olive drab and camouflage.
Spice up your wardrobe and show your love of the troops with a military inspired piece today!
