Carousel of Color - 2

Do special events cause your wardrobe to race away in a flurry of fear? Do you ignore the needs of the moment and hope a perfect outfit will magically appear?

One of those special events is coming this weekend, Easter Sunday, with Mother's Day not far behind. From spending the day with your children hunting for Easter Eggs to Sunday Morning services brightened with bold colors and a flash of florals, having the right outfit will make your day less stressful!

So...a few tips to keep the holidays from giving you the run around.

1) Color. Color is the biggest trend this season. Find your best color - coral, blue, red, pink, tangerine, turquoise, honeysuckle - and build your outfit from there. Easter egg hunts are best done in jeans so look for a fun top and sandals to help you feel festive. Easter Sunday is the perfect time to wear a dress or outfit with lots of flowers and bright colors!

2) Fit. Dresses are expected for Easter Sunday but a skirt or pantsuit is as acceptable and might work better for your figure. Even if you are helping your kids hunt down brightly painted eggs your jeans and top should fit. Pictures will be taken and posted on FB so this is not the time to skimp on fit!

3) Audience. Know what you are doing and who your going with! If it is church with parents a cardi might be wise over that strapless dress, then you can remove it when you go to the family dinner. Just spending time with the family? Go dressy casual. This is not a contest for the best dressed, but a time for love and fun. Respect the people around you and the events you are attending.

Femme is a 'merry-go-round' of clothing. Skirts, tops, blouses, jackets, jeans, trousers, shorts, crops, cargos and lots of fun jewelry, sandals and handbags dance around the boutique. Stop in and grab a hold of that golden ride called shopping. Tell us what you you have going on and we will help you be bright and beautiful! It will lift your spirits and help your weekend go so much smoother if you have your outfits ready! See you soon!
