The circus of life has many different acts, each of which requires a costume -- a certain way of dressing. Work, running errands, date night, and special occasions all require a costume change. Building a cohesive wardrobe is easy when you know the acts you are in. The first thing to do is look at where you spend your time. Is the majority of your time in a given week spent in an office, at home, or in the public eye? Your clothing should reflect your lifestyle. Do you have everything you need for your work ensemble? Are you missing heels or a handbag that will take day wear to evening wear? Determine the missing elements of your costumes by laying out your outfits and making sure all the pieces are there. Make a list of everything that is missing and take it with you where ever you go. You never know when the perfect TREASURE will appear.
